Professional Experience

Prior to her career at the Bar, Linda worked as a medical laboratory technician in neuropathology at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle and in cancer research at the General Hospital, Newcastle.

She is now a general common law practitioner with experience in both criminal and civil law.
In crime, Linda regularly appears in Crown, Magistrates' and Youth courts in and around London. She has particular experience in offences contrary to the Sexual Offences Act, Misuse of Drugs Act and Prevention of Crime Act.

Her family law practice includes care proceedings, contact, residence orders, injunctions, ancillary relief, and divorce (including contested divorce).

Linda has experience in representing persons detained under the Mental Health Act and in a wide range of civil law including consumer law, personal injury, contracts, employment, social and welfare law.

Linda is approved by the Bar Council to undertake cases under the Public Direct Access Scheme.

Linda is fluent in Norwegian.
