Professional Exprience
Helen has worked as a commercial lawyer in the City and abroad (Europe and USA)
and now practices in common law with particular emphasis on criminal prosecution and
defence at all levels.
She has a growing public law practice in Prison Adjudications, defends in Court
Martial proceedings, and undertakes a small amount of family care work. She represents
the Crown Prosecution Service, Department of Work & Pensions, DEFRA, and numerous
Local Authorities and agencies.
Helen also has a strong practice in the Youth court and a widely recognised ability for
handling child witnesses. Her background in biochemistry gives her an aptitude for
technical/scientific cases (especially those involving expert witnesses).
Her travels and ability in languages enable her to empathise with clients from all walks of life.
